- Does Music Agent separate an existing song?
- Music Agent creates new instrument parts from your musical direction. It does not isolate instruments from an existing mixed recording.
- Can I use the music commercially?
- We commission recordings from paid musicians under signed agreements that explicitly permit AI training and commercialization of the resulting outputs. Music Agent output is usable commercially, with no royalties payable to Bovo or separate license purchase. Use is governed by our Terms of Service.
- Can I use my own chord progression, key, time signature, tempo, and prompt?
- Yes. Enter your chord progression, key, time signature, and tempo, then describe the style and feel in your prompt. Generate short instrument stems and download each as both WAV audio and editable MIDI to use in your DAW. Each stem is generated independently; compare and refine the parts to find what fits.
- How do musicians contribute to Music Agent?
- We commission recordings from musicians and pay for their contributions. Every musician contributing training recordings signs an agreement explicitly authorizing their use to train and develop Bovo’s AI.
- Is Bovo a free AI MIDI generator?
- Yes. The Free plan includes 10 takes every day, with both MIDI and WAV downloads. Sign up for an account to get started. New signups also receive one month of Plus free, with no payment card needed. Continue on Free afterward unless you choose to subscribe.
- Can I export both MIDI and WAV stems?
- Yes. Each generated stem is available as both WAV audio and editable MIDI. MIDI includes expressive timing and velocities, with human-curated pedaling and control changes (CC). WAV exports are 24-bit PCM stereo at 48 kHz, with an additional 44.1 kHz download when ready.
- Is the generated music copyright-free?
- Music Agent output is usable commercially, with no royalties payable to Bovo or separate license purchase, under our Terms of Service. That permission does not make the music public domain or remove rights in material you supply. Catalogue Music has separate licensing terms.
